Traction Gauge TRAC CONTROL

Overview

A measuring strip is clamped into the measuring head and the free end is inserted, for example, between rollers. When setting the rotating rollers, the growing friction exerts traction forces on the measuring strip.
With non-rotating rollers, sheet grippers or other devices, there are also traction forces applied when pulling out the measuring strip.
The TRAC CONTROL indicates the measured traction force on the display and verifies the adherence to the set-point with an optoacoustic signal.
The angular position of the measuring head is simultaneously taken into account during the measurement and is displayed as well.

Statistical values like the average force and the force progression range are available in the results and allow conclusions about roller settings and roller or bearing quality.
