8th SIG Science Talk - Energy-Efficient Production Processes

An online event series of the Sächsische Industrieforschungsgemeinschaft e. V. (Saxon Industrial Research Association).

Ever-scarcer resources, rising energy costs and strict environmental regulations make energy-efficient production processes a decisive competitive factor for the industry. To achieve maximum energy efficiency, businesses need the best products, systems and solutions.

You can find out which energy-efficient projects industrial research institutions in Saxony are currently working on in this area on 15 November 2022 from 10 - 11 a.m. at the 8th SIG Science Talk on the topic of "Energy-Efficient Production Processes - Clever Ideas from the World of Research".

Scientists from the Institut für Luft- und Kältetechnik Dresden, the Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut in Chemnitz and the Institut für Holztechnologie Dresden will report and discuss the topic of "Energy-Efficient Production Processes". We kindly invite you to attend and learn more about the current research activities in Saxony and to enter into a dialog with our speakers.

Speakers:

Dr. Jörg Waschull (ILK): "The Challenges of Solar Cooling Applications for Commercial Purposes".

Dr. Steffen Seeger: (STFI): "Energy and Resource Efficiency - Savings Potential of Different Approaches Using Textiles Processes as an Example".

Martin Direske (IHD): "Energy- And Time-Efficient Drying of Cement-Bonded Particleboard".

The SIG Science Talk is a free online event series where you can learn the latest news from the research carried out by the 18 member institutes of SIG.
